recipe

When invited somewhere I like bringing (when possible) gifts I spent time preparing. Just in honor to the hostess and host …  it can ba a  basket of fresh homemade  petits pains au lait, chocolatines … or something I know the person will enjoy for sure .
Some of my friends & my husband family   often makes fun at me as I am from Normandy, the “country of camembert, apples and calvados” . I still have a normand accent …  Once, I was invited to a family dinner  and I decided to create this  flower holder to make them smile and ironically show my “fière d’etre normande” pride :)  I wanted to trick them and finally … The shoe is on the other foot…as they all ask to have one.
Last year a cousin of mine asked me if I have an idea for original centerpieces (for her daughter’s baptism)  , I told her about the camembert cheese boxes . She was first surprised then  smitten …
I consequently decided to add them to my etsy shop.

yum, yum....my mouth is watering and your arrangement of the violets is lovely and quite original.
I have to try this recipe and will probably have Barons De Rothschild (Lafite)from the Bordeaux region with the dish (I happen to have a bottle on hand). Can't hardly wait, thanks for sharing!

Yum...my cone of cookies and cream ice cream isn't looking so delicious right now :-)

I love camembert...Neil and I lunched on that, wine and a baguette the ENTIRE time we was in Paris for our honeymoon. I should give your recipe a try for our next "date night"...he'll be putty in my hands :-)
