{ hot wednesday }

I just come back from the post office … oh my …we are baking hot right now… It is a 85 °F outdoor … I wish I had some time to make some homemade crème brûlée ice cream, or maybe some Strawberry-Rhubarb Ice Cream … Jp would probably rather having a generous scoop of that one .

I wanted to share a song I just love and keep singing …I think it is beautiful. I really like Melody Gardot and bought her precedent album  {Worrisome Heart}.
I heard this song for the first time, during a Festival de Cannes TV show … She has such a cute accent …and even with this accent , this song exhudes France … at least to me …
Her new album { My One and Only Thrill} is wonderful …

I particularly want to share this song with you Christina… oui that’s for you .

and now a few wednesday etsy favorites :

Et oui, that’s all … “hot wednesday” just means .. it is a hot wednesday weather forecast-speaking …. what were you thinking ??

That song was really fun! It's been really hot here lately with the exception of today: RAIN! Anyway, the song definitely makes it feel like it's sunny and warm here.

Your selections are so perfect for June. And I love your 'taste' in ice cream flavors!

Well lucky you! It's 18 degrees C here which is good for Montreal, but not hot enough for summer! Those Ice creams sound incredible. I am on a big rhubarb kick right now and crave everything made with it.

It's 16 degress here in Sydney but we had a very hot summer too so I sort of can relate! I love that song and the pretty pictures - whichgoose is a favourite of mine too - she's so talented! Thanks for sharing!

You're funny...hot wednesday it is...almost 90 F here and humid...but wonderful all the same because it brings BEAUTIFUL thunderstorms.

I'll have to check out the music...I've really enjoyed all the other music links you've posted in the past.

Are you kidding me with that ice cream? Oh my... I'm going to have to make a batch of that... wow. I'm off to check it out. It's hot here too, so I could justify cranking up the ice cream maker...

sushine > isn't this song beautiful Katrina ?

Kristin > I finally have some ice cream ... store bought ice cream but still ... I went for cherry and chocolate shavings ... mmmmm :)

a thousand clapping hands > I just love June ... and I just love ice ceam catherine !!!

Cocobean > 18°C is still good for ice cream ... I am in a rhubarb mood too ... my parents have tons of it in their garden ...which is quite uncommon as it is particularly hard to grow up in this region.

Sam > I have a tendancy to forget you folks had to say goodbye to the hot season ... sorry about that !! I love whichgoose items !!

you're more than welcome Mel :)

always glad to "see" you Lindsey. how are you ?
I hope you will like the music. but I think you will .

kotori > yes, I confirm that's a good reason ... I need to get myself a new ice cream maker but meanwhile it can't still "work" ...

Oh, your ice cream and sorbet sound so delightfully refreshing on a hot summery day! It has been quite warm in my area this week too. I love this song. I think I'll have The Boy download the album for the wedding playlist. I adore your Etsy picks. I've been eying that dress for ages!

Sabine,
Just so you know, I couldn't find the time to make the ice cream, so I went to the local Boulange and picked up a strawberry/rhubarb tart. Brought it home, warmed it up and then topped it with vanilla bean ice cream - and the whole time, I thanked you for reminding me to indulge in such sinful pleasures!
