{ nature poetry }

mercredi

This morning, I slipped furtively out to water my garden while the sun was still a little sleepy … and I witnessed the loveliest scene … I caught my hydrangeas red-handed, while tenderly kissing .. My lavender blue hydrangea, delicately bent over my old rose hydrangea, probably whispering sweet words to its vegetal ears … Do you think they were “making” babies hydrangeas ? what shades of colors do you think their offspring will be ?

I spent a long moment watching one this poetic nature scene I am so fond of …

Beautiful! I bought a hydrangea two years ago and it died. I was so sad but I pretty much expected it b/c I do NOT have a green thumb. More like black... Oops!

Hi Sabine, I checked out the photography and like the black and white one the best. Question: Where did you learn English? I'm assuming your born and bred French, right? Your command of the language is outstanding. I know Americans who don't even know the meaning of 'furtively'. Really, I do! :)
