how to make vintage curtains …

  curtain
I wanted to change my bedroom curtain  for a few months. I really love the former one, but I was craving for a  beachcomber of elegant multicolor flowers …
I started hunting, looking for THE fabric. At the very second my eyes met this vintage sumptuous textile  I was under a spell.

The task was not arduous … a little hem all around …

Then I added  a rufflette  (rufflette tape) for an authentic look … I found the tape at the very same place I found the fabric. It was a sign …

Some vintage plastic hooks, not very glamour but as they will be totally hidden, this is not a problem , and a few white rings to perfect the ensemble .

some elbow grease to install them on the curtains rod …here you go …

Those pictures are to show you the ambience…in early morning … the shutters still partially closed … I so love this moments of the day and how the light plays with the texture …

So pretty; I do not sew so I admire your skill ever so much more. The room looks very fresh and feminine after. :)
