{ brioche love story }

I am cooking up  a few new things to add to my etsy shop …can’t wait to share them with you ….

P1180042

Brioche is one of my favorite thing for breakfast ( and for tea snack too) … I am not a picky eater … but when it comes to brioche, I am uncompromising … I don’t like dry brioche !!! I like the interior to be very soft, almost ethereal … with just the perfect inside- moisture and a great melting down texture …
it enters in the same category as brownie or cookie :  the perpetual  quest for the Holy recipe … I tried dozens and dozens of them … I narrowed my selection to 5  …  my very favorites, but I still try  new recipes !

I often make brioche at home … several days a week.  Its sweet fragrance will then perfumed the all house for hours …

For this brioche I choose this recipe . It is in french and I don’t have enough time right now to translate it …

What a perfect looking brioche! Yes I would like some!
So yesterday cherries dropped in price from 6 dollars a pound to 2.75... so what did I do? I bought 5 pounds of cherries and ran home to make your cherry crumble... but Ian didn't have his camera so I am going to make it on Saturday so that we can get some good pictures. I hope that I don't eat all the cherries by then!
Have a good weekend.

The photos were all eye candy...but how fair is it to post those of the brioche and then not have time to translate the menu?! Just Plain Mean! :)

Sabine, could you be a more perfect little homemaker? Baking brioche several times a week? Wow! Can I come live with you?

....and I can't wait to see what new etsy goodies you have in store for us!

Happy weekend!

Sumptous brioche....warm plain needs nothing. I'll be using your recipe in French...I have a translation programme for this very reason.
American versions never ever ever taste the same. I believe its our eggs, but I'll try.
Your brioche & chocolat est magnifique!! My mouth is watering as I type!!!
Bonne weekend!!!!!

I love brioche too...and don't get to eat it very often...it's not available in the states at a "regular" grocery store. I should make it at home...looks wonderful.

catching up on all your posts...I've missed your blog :)
