Today is Mother ‘s day in France … I wish you all, my friends readers & lovely mothers, wherever you live , a very happy { French } Mother’s day … and of course : Bonne Fête des Mères maman !!!
Yesterday I checked my mailbox quite late … when I say late it was almost 8 pm… and a little surprise was quietly waiting for me …protected by a soft and comfy envelope… I can’t tell how surprised and touched I was when I opened the package … I have had a true emotional overwhelming moment …I am still sort of misty-eyed right now …
Julia …the very talented and adorable artist behind Rennes le Chateau sent me the most adorable leather zipper pouch .. It is on my knees right now, as I can’t keep my hand off of it … It is so soft, so beautiful …
This morning I’ve used every pretext possible to have an occasion to actually wear it … Guess who went to the boulangerie, with a very enthusiastic face … then to the bureau de tabac to get sunday newspaper … As I can be very imaginative, I found a few others reasons too … :) Monsieur le Marquis said I should have such a lovely surprise more often, so that he could stay at home quietly on sunday mornings !!!
