It is quite HOT here lately .. my best friend of this week is … my house fan … I use the oven and other heat sources as little as possible. My second best friend is … my ice cream maker !!

I made this delicious, and very flavorful ice cream last weekend … I basically made a simple vanilla bean and honey , then I added hand pieced twix bars when almost finished to be churned , and some twix machine processed sprinkles. was it good ? OUI !

Sabine - this is an easy one for me! All of my favorite recipes are oven-free because I don't enjoy cooking and Chef Stu does it all! Does that count? ;)
Who doesnt like ice cream.It looks delicious. I am not a great cook so my oven free recipes mostly include lots of salads..
YUM YUM YUM...Twix are my favorite and I totally think it qualifies as an oven free dinner :-)
I just made some banana strawberry ice cream for my dad's birthday and I can't wait to try out some more recipes (perhaps I should put Twix on my grocery list).
Homemade ice cream is so yummy on a hot summer day! Lindsey just made strawberry-banana ice cream that was sinfully good.
As far as a no-cook recipe, I love a good mixed green salad with lots of different veggies and fruit topped with cheese and a raspberry vinaigrette.

Your ice cream looks divine! At 110 degrees we are hot here too..but we have AC and a pool to help. We use the grill as often as possible, cold pasta salads are also good! Can you ship some of your ice cream to me???
