{ Tour de France }

Once gain, thank you so much for your support and affection. It means so much to me … I have a lot to catch up but you are all in my mind … I am still in a low power mode but I allow myself  a little time to feel better … Besides this weekend  will be full of enjoyable moments and events and they will sure bring me  some energy ….

It’s tour de France time, a mammoth sport event here   …Really, it is quite a big deal here, whether you are a cycling fan or not … when I was a child we always made everything possible to at least watch in person  one of the numerous stage.  there is a very particular vibrant atmosphere as  huge crowds gather on the edges of the road … patiently waiting (hours) to get a chance to see  the racers … The best part  surely was when the ad campaign vans  distributed candies and many goodies , just before racers arrival …

Now I am lucky enough to live in a area crossed each year by the  Tour de france schedule  (as this region is one of the major mountain stage) !!!  EACH YEAR !!! This year, stage 8 is from Andorre la vieille to saint Girons … Saint Girons being where my parents’ home is …. I live somewhere in between …
In a nutshell if you feel like it and if you are curious to see how gorgeous the landscape is here … just watch the Tour de france tomorrow … you may see me …. a long hair blond girl, with a big flag, tons of friends and the most gorgeous husband ever :)  ….

Miss you, Sabine. I think of you when I see your beautiful country as my husband is Tour crazy. It would give you a good giggle, which I imagine you need. Be well, friend.

Hi Sabine!!! Yup, I love the cupcake decorations! How cute are they? I am hoping that Lance Armstrong can put in a good showing. After all, he's 37 now, and trying to come back to it after taking time away from it. I'm routing for the old man! :)

Love those bicycle cupcake toppers! I think I need to buy some for my fiance's birthday next month. I have been watching the Tour :) Your area is so beautiful! I'm really glad you had a chance to have some fun these past few days. My thoughts continue to be with you dear Sabine. I'm leaving for my wedding week tomorrow, but I will be back in a week.

My husband love watching the tour on tv. I'm always blown away with how gorgeous everything is. I'd love to experience it someday.
We are Lance Armstrong fans. He was a huge inspiration to my hubby while undergoing chemo, and I think he's amazing on many levels.

So good to see you back...we missed you.
